G2 moves distribution to Booksource

G2 Entertainment, one of the country’s leading publishers of sports and special interest books, has appointed Glasgow-based BookSource as its distribution partner.

With a catalogue of over 300 titles, G2 Entertainment work with some of the biggest sports clubs in the country in making high quality and sought-after titles. The addition of their list complements BookSource’s existing stable of sports and activity publishers, like Cicerone, Polaris Publishing, Rucksack Readers and Backpage Press, and the move marks a further strengthening of the Publishing Scotland subsidiary’s footprint in the United Kingdom.

G2E titles will be available at BookSource from Tuesday 15th June, having previously been handled by Orca in Dorset.

Audrey Hepburn is the subject of a new documentary made by the BAFTA-nominated team behind McQueen. Audrey, which will be available on DVD and digital download from 30 November, will offer an intimate portrait of the iconic star, showcasing never-seen-before footage, as well as interviews with her family.

Audrey More Than An Icon will feature interviews with her son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer, Givenchy former artistic director Clare Waight Keller and Tiffany design director emeritus John Loring. In homage of Heburn’s love of ballet, three acclaimed dancers will enact her different life stages. Francesca Hayward will play ‘Hollywood eraAudrey’ at the height of her fame, Alessandra Ferri plays Audrey in her later years and the film also introduces Keira Moore as ‘Young Audrey’, who the production found through an audition process at ballet schools.
